The British and Irish Hardwoods Improvement Programme (BIHIP) is a registered charity in England and Wales, and in Ireland.
It aims to improve and increase the stock of hardwood trees in Britain and Ireland. The charity is supported by a network of organisations (see Links below). It has six species groups that lead research for:
